The stray animals of Kefalonia Island

Hi, my family and I are aiming to raise a minimum of £500 to help feed the stray cats and dogs of Kefalonia island.

There are some individuals on the island that pay for food, medication and vet bills for the stray animals from their own pocket. Our intentions are to help these people that give their time and money to help the stray animals that are in desperate need and rely on these kind people all year round. The money that we raise will help to feed some hungry animals through the off season/winter months.

It will be handed over to a person that I know and trust on a personal level, someone that is committed to helping animals 365 days of the year.

The challenge is for my family to climb the 3 highest peaks in the county of Yorkshire in under 12 hours. The total height that we will climb will be 2153 metres and the distance we will cover will be around 25 miles.

Hopefully our efforts will help to secure some much needed resources for the stray animals of Kefalonia.
