Snoop is an 11 month old American Bully ( affectionately known as a Pibble ) who lives in Beverly Massachusetts with his person Kevin.

Kevin , a teacher at Beverly High School, adopted Snoop at 9 weeks old from Syracuse NY.

At his first veterinarian visit a small heart murmur was detected. As it can happen with a lot of pups and usually is harmless , the vet decided they would keep an eye on and see how it progressed , and they would recheck it at his next visit.

In the meantime Snoop became a fixture on the Cabot Street circuit of Beverly, earning the well deserved title amongst some, as the unofficial Mayor of Beverly, or at least Cabot St. He is a happy engaging pup that will greet people and pups alike with a wagging tail, a cold nose nudge, and that special Pibble smile. He loves to visit all his favorite shops and local businesses with Kevin , hoping for a pat on the head, a scratch behind the ears or the occasional puppy treat. He also loves to just sit and people watch , or puppy watch. You can find him with his person Kevin regularly socializing throughout the neighborhood. Snoop has quickly become a big part of the community.

On his next visit with the vet , there was a new diagnosis related to Snoops heart murmur. Pulmonary Stenosis. The vet advised Kevin that Snoop would need surgery to correct the valve of his heart , the surgery is called a balloon valvulopasty. It's a very expensive procedure, and unfortunately because the murmur was diagnosed first , pet insurance isn't an option for payment as it's considered ' pre-existing ' . So we are hoping that we can help raise funds towards the cost of this much needed , life saving heart surgery for Snoop. So that he and his person Kevin can have many years together , with Snoop living a full happy and healthy life , and continue to bring joy and smiles to the Cabot St community.
