Help Abood and His Family Escape the War and Survive: A Gaza Family’s Fight for Life
Abood is 14 years old. He was born with chronic kidney failure. He has spent his life in and out of hospitals, surviving on daily medications and dialysis.
But now, in Gaza, even survival is no longer possible.
When the war began, Abood’s world shattered overnight.
His family — a father, a mother, and six children (three boys and three girls, aged one to twelve) — lost everything.
Their home was bombed.
Their sewing factory — the fruit of years of sweat and sacrifice — reduced to rubble.
Their land was razed.
They fled with nothing but fear.
Now they live in a makeshift tent in Al-Shati refugee camp, under siege, with no clean water, no electricity, no medicine, and barely any food. The children cry from hunger and fear. The parents are broken.
Abood is dying in front of them.
He can’t walk on his own anymore. His mother used to carry him four kilometers every single day on her back to reach Al-Rantissi Hospital — just to get him dialysis. She walked through bombed streets, through debris, past corpses and tanks, just to keep him alive.
Then the hospital shut down.
No machines. No supplies. No doctors.
Now Abood has no treatment. His body is slowly shutting down. His blood is toxic. His bones ache. His skin is pale. His limbs swell.
And his father? He tried to cross into the north to find food. He was badly injured.
Now he can’t walk. He can’t work.
This family is running out of options.
They are running out of time.
They once had a home. A life. A future.
Now they’re buried under grief and dust.
They’re starving, sick, and forgotten in the rubble of war.
But they are not giving up.
This campaign is not just about survival.
It’s about escape.
It’s about hope.
It’s about giving these six children a chance to live beyond war.
We are raising funds to help this family evacuate Gaza — to reach safety, medical care, and dignity. To rebuild even a fraction of the life they once had.
Your donation will help cover:
• Urgent food and clean water
• Medicine and basic healthcare
• Travel and evacuation costs
• Temporary shelter and safety
• Abood’s future transplant and long-term treatment
There is no limit. Because the need has no ceiling.
If you want proof, we can provide medical documents, testimonies, and everything you need. This is real. And this is urgent.
If you cannot give, please share.
Your voice may reach someone who can help.
This family lost everything. Let’s give them something back.
Abood still wants to live. His mother still believes he can.
Let’s not look away.
Every dollar is a step closer to saving Abood.
Every share is a lifeline.
Every act of kindness is a light in their darkness.
