Isaac is a 10 years old boy with a heart full of light. He is the only son of his parents and a caring brother to two little sisters, he was the joy of his family. His father is a humble factory worker who works tirelessly to provide for his family. His mother is a housewife who devotes her life to raising their children with love and hope. They live in a small rented house in Lahore (ASIF TOWN).
Isaac was an exceptionally bright child, quick to learn, eager to help, and always smiling. Whether it was solving his schoolwork, assisting his mother with chores, or making his sisters laugh, he did everything with a pure heart. His teachers admired his intelligence, and his neighbors adored his gentle nature. He had big dreams to study hard, to make his parents proud.
But one tragic afternoon changed everything. While playing near the rooftop of his home, Isaac lost his balance and fell from the third story. In an instant, his family’s world came crashing down. His father rushed him to the nearest hospital, desperate to save his only son. The doctors discovered that Isaac had suffered a severe head injury, internal bleeding in the brain that required immediate surgery and specialized care.
With no financial means, his parents turned to a government children’s hospital in Lahore, hoping their boy would receive the help he needed. Unfortunately, the limited resources and lack of expertise led to complications during the operation. Instead of improving, Isaac’s condition worsened. He now lies mostly unconscious, his tiny body fighting for life. When he occasionally opens his eyes, he no longer recognizes the people who love him the most — his mother, father, and sisters. He develop an issue in his body, where he twitches his leg in pain or in discomfort but he cannot tell.
Isaac is now being fed through a tube. His brain needs time, care, and advanced treatment to recover, but his parents simply cannot afford it. His father’s factory job barely covers rent and basic food. Every day, they sit beside Isaac’s bed, praying for a miracle, holding his hand, and whispering his name — hoping he will one day wake up and call them back.
When I visited Isaac in his house, my heart shattered. His parents, already broken with grief, could not even afford diapers for him. They were using plastic bags in hot weather :( The exhaustion, and the quiet despair in their eyes told a story no words can fully explained. They are doing everything they can — but it isn’t enough.
Isaac deserves a chance — a chance to live, to heal, to go back to school, to laugh again. He is not just a patient; he is a precious child who once filled his home with joy and promise. His family needs our help, our kindness, and our compassion.
Please, let’s come together to help Isaac get the medical care he desperately needs. Every small contribution can make a big difference — whether it’s for his treatment, his hospital care, or simply helping his family survive this unbearable time.
Let’s not let Isaac’s story end in silence. Let’s be his hope.
