Hello,

I am Kate Semple and I have been running stone carving courses at my studio in Holcombe, near Radstock for nearly 15 years. I am lucky enough to have a wonderfully loyal and talented group of people that come along to my classes, and we all thought it high time to celebrate their work with an exhibition.

We will also be running the exhibition as a fundraiser for Dorothy House Hospice. We will be demonstrating and inviting people to "have a go" at the ancient art of stone carving. Any donations and a percentage of all sculpture sales, plus the money we manage to raise here on Gofundme will go to support the work of Dorothy House. Based just outside Bradford on Avon, the hospice is close to the hearts of many of us in the local area for the incredible work they do.

We live in an area where beautiful stone buildings are all around us. Please come along to our exhibition and enjoy seeing the skill and creativity my stone carving enthusiasts have for working this lovely material. I never cease to be amazed by what they manage to achieve.
