Hello!
We are an international team of filmmakers passionate about telling stories that resonate with truth and heart. Our new short film, The Sticker, is a personal drama about family, identity, and reconciliation.
When their father passes away, two siblings, once inseparable, find themselves back in the same home for the first time in years. One has stayed close to family and tradition, while the other has distanced himself, burying the past under work and a new identity. As grief lingers in the air, old wounds surface and we witness the painful rift between family members, rooted in cultural identity, immigration struggles, and unspoken expectations. In the months that follow, a single quiet gesture, a sticker pressed onto a shirt, becomes a symbol of showing up, even when the words are hard to say.
With The Sticker we want to bring to the screen an honest portrait of immigrant family life, with all its sacrifices, tensions, and unspoken truths.
The total budget for The Sticker is estimated at $5-6k. The amount we are raising is going directly towards our equipment, catering and expenses. Because we aren't able to pay cast and crew, we'd like to have the money to be able to cover lunch and travel for everyone. In the images attached to the project's page is a breakdown of the budget, so you can see where your contribution is going towards
We are covering part of the budget ourselves, but to bring this story to life with the care it deserves, we need your support. Funds will go directly to equipment rental, location fees, craft services, production design, and distribution. Every contribution, big or small, helps us make this film possible.
If you can’t donate, sharing our campaign would mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us tell a story about family, memory, and the power of small gestures.
With gratitude,
The Sticker Team
