The Stauros Foundation and The Toy House!

In a few short weeks, I will be running the Belfast marathon! The full 26.2 miles! I am not a runner by any means so this has been nothing short of a challenge! I would love to raise as much as I can for both of these charities.

The Stauros Foundation seeks to help people who are struggling with addiction both directly or indirectly. This charity has helped not only my own family in many ways but is impacting the lives of lots of people in both my wider and immediate community. Stauros rely solely on donations to continue the work they do through 1-1 support for individuals as well as group sessions for community and family work.

The Toy House is a space for families with little ones who have additional needs. It provides a space for parents and carers to chat with experienced staff as well as a safe and loving environment for little ones to have fun, and feel seen and cared for in a space designed for their needs. Recently, my nephew has been diagnosed with autism and this has been such an amazing place for him to interact, play and explore more of the things he loves.
