The Staton family fight cancer

- My name is Barb, and I am raising funds to help our close friends, the Staton's, fight back for precious time together. Doug, one of the kindest, warmest, welcoming people I know, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer around the new year. Doug has since begun his battle to fight for all the precious time he can get with his girls, Sami, his devoted and loving wife, and Scout, their wonderful daughter, and with that fight Sami is by his side through it. As Doug has had to stop working, and Sami going with him to all appointments, treatments, tests, and surgeries is missing a lot of work, which is taking its toll as bills pile up. This family is a big part of the bulldog community in East Knox, Doug became a huge help with the football team, recording all the games for later viewing, and became close with so many of us lucky enough to meet him. As a community I am hoping we can pull together to help support this family, who truly never ask for anything. As this is unexpected, funeral and memorial expenses are also needed to help plan for what's to come. Please reach into your hearts and help this family stay afloat together while they tread their darkest waters, every little bit helps them.
