The Station House Cafe Bistro - Equipment
Donation protected
The Station House Café and Bistro is a little piece of Italy transported to Garforth, Leeds. We provide a welcoming, homely, Mediterranean haven for our guests to relax, catch up with friends and family, all whilst enjoying true, authentic southern Italian cuisine.
Like many, if not all, other restaurants, our business has been negatively affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. However, we are determined to return stronger and better than ever to provide you with the most comfortable, safe and enjoyable restaurant experience possible whilst adhering to the advisory guidelines provided by the government.
If you’ve ever visited The Station House in person, you will know the Bistro is based in the stunning, quaint, small, yet perfectly-proportioned old Stationmaster’s house at Garforth train station. Due to the proportions of the building, we have devised a plan to distribute staff throughout the building to ensure we adhere to social distancing guidelines. One member of staff will monitor the ground floor, one for the upper floor and one for the outside eating areas. All staff will also wear gloves, masks and visors to ensure safety for everyone.
However, in order to minimise contact between staff and customers and to provide the best service we can whilst keeping you safe, we would need to keep staff distanced whilst still maintaining good communication. Here is where your help would come in…
We would like to provide all staff with headsets so they can communicate with each other without the need to move from their designated service areas – thus, keeping both staff and customers safe in the current epidemic climate.
Our plan is to to purchase 5 Vocovo headsets for this purpose.

Due to the negative effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, our business has been affected to the point where we cannot currently afford to purchase the required number of headsets for all staff.
The total cost of the headset order would be £1500.
With your help, we would love to buy and use these headsets in order to continue doing what we love: making people happy.
