With the latest covid restrictions in place, many of our notable regulars have been asking how they may be able to help our staff during this holiday season. To be honest, It is very uncomfortable, and we are humbled to oblige and start this staff fund.
We are grateful for the regulars we have earned over the years, they are a large part of why we do what we do. Thank you for sharing your stories of family, celebrations, accomplishments, or even struggles encountered along the way. It means so much to us. Seeing members of our bar community fall in love, get married, have children, or just being able to enjoy their friendship over a pint is, more often than not, the highlight of our days.
It breaks our heart to have to pause the bar for the time being. The year 2020 has posed a number of challenges, unlike anything most of us have yet to come across. Please know how eager and anxious we are to go back to indoor dining safely. We can’t wait to welcome back our regulars, and open our tavern back up to the Ann Arbor community who has supported us for decades.
So, if you are one of the friends inquiring about a donation fund or are a fan of our excellent staff and would like to send a little holiday cheer to the Old Town, we put this “Go Fund Me” together, where you can do so and please accept our extreme gratitude for being apart of our little bar community.
