Hi, my name is Erica Zyjewski and I'm raising funds for M Salon in Wallingford, CT. I have been a client of M Salon for over 20 years, and my sister Brooke is a stylist there. On Tuesday May 2, a car drove through their front door, destroying the salon and displacing their staff. While by some miracle no one was physically hurt, the psychological and financial toll this has taken on them is extreme. Temporary arrangements have been made with local salons for stylists to have a location to provide services to their clients. However, they are without their expensive tools and supplies, that were either destroyed or are unaccessible for the forseeable future, in the boarded up salon. These stylists, along with their management and support staff, have happily worked hard to make us look and feel beautiful for many years, but are required to invest hundreds of dollars or even more into their new tools. l am hoping our community can give them any little bit of help to soften the blow of this uncertain time and allow them to purchase the tools they need to continue doing what they love, which is making us all feel good.

On a personal note, my sister's station was run over and completely destroyed. I do not want to imagine what would have happened had it been one hour later, as she would have been standing right there
