UPDATE:
If you haven't heard the good news, Crazy Tuna's liquor license suspension has been lifted! Can't thank everyone enough for the generosity of donating to their wonderful staff. The Go Fund Me for them will be closed. I will work with management and the staff to make sure the funds are distributed appropriately. Thank you everyone!

The Crazy Tuna not only employs some of my favorite colleagues and friends, they also have some of the greatest views, food, and drinks in Essex and in all of Maryland.
Many of you have heard about the Baltimore County Liquor Board penalizing The Crazy Tuna for two weeks for a noise violation. And Rich said it best - the staff of a summer bar / restaurant only has 14 weeks to make the bulk of their salary. Taking two full weeks of pay is taking 15% of their salaries away. How many of us would be able to take a hit like that and still be able to pay our bills? Well my friends and colleagues are taking that hit right now.
These servers, cooks, management, distributors, security members, and bartenders have all lost the ability to do what they do, provide exceptional service to their patrons to make a living. Not only for themself but for their families-spouses, kids, etc.
In order to help lessen that blow I set up this GoFundMe for the staff.
I commented on a posting and said something to a staff member something to the effect of, “if there’s something I can do especially at this time, I’m glad to.” Although all of the details aren’t worked out yet, this is that something.
I’m asking if we can come together as a music community, as a restaurant community, as a community of people who knows life is tough when you can't work even when you're willing and able to help some of our favorite colleagues, coworkers and friends that may be going through a tough time from this noise violation penalty.
