The Stacie McGowan Cox Scholarship Fund

If you were lucky enough to know Stacie, you know that she was an amazing artist and an even more amazing person.  Her animations, drawings, and sculptures created worlds that gave you a little peek into her outlook on life. Her art is creative, funny, whimsical, and absurd. She used it for good in her professional life to help people learn and in her personal life to bring joy to her family, friends, and community who all miss her terribly. 


While our hearts are broken at losing Stacie, we know that she continues to be in this world through her art and through our memories. We also know that she would want some good to come out of this loss. That's why we're raising money for a scholarship in her honor: "Drawing on Hope: The Stacie McGowan Cox Memorial Endowed Scholarship" 



Stacie was a graduate and scholarship recipient of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Receiving a scholarship there allowed her to access training and education that helped make her the unique artist she was. We know she'd love the idea of being able to help young artists in need in her honor. 



We appreciate any donation big or small to fund this scholarship in honor of Stacie's memory.
