Hey there! Jessica Fishenfeld, here - singer, actor, producer, athlete, improviser, and now aerialist and stunt performer! I’m combining most of these skills I’ve accumulated over the years to accomplish the final leg of a project I'm extremely passionate about.

When songwriting team Morris & Rivers approached me about recording their epic piece “The Spy,” I fell in love with the story and music immediately. Its lush Parisian-style waltz juxtaposed with its dark, tragic tale of a vicious assassin who falls in love with her target felt like a delicious, complex Weill-Brechtian experience that I had to bring into the world. We recorded and released it with piano and a string quartet from the Hilton Head Symphony (arranged by Assaf Gleizner) and I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Now, “The Spy” is dying to become a full visual experience. The detailed imagery and storytelling naturally lend themselves to a musical short film, and my vision for this piece is through parallel storytelling, weaving together the Spy's adventures as an assassin in the real world and as a showgirl in a burlesque fantasy world (a-la Chicago the musical), juxtaposing dark brutal reality with cheeky sensuality.
