EmmaP was killed by an impaired driver just weeks after her 16th birthday. She loved soccer, her horse Charlie, and her family and friends. She had a smile that would light up the room and an infectious laugh. She left a mark on the lives of all who knew her.
Since her death her famiy has taken on several projects to honour her legacy. They have built and donated Buddy Benches to all the local schools to encourage friendship, they organize a very successful Emma's PJ drive every Christmas, and they award a scholarship in Emma's name to graduates of her high school.
Emma was born on May 26 and we should be planning her 21st birthday. Instead, I have created this account to raise money to support the Spirit of EmmaP Award that is given yearly to graduates of her high school who demonstartes athleticism, volunteerism, being a good friend, and a passion for life.
Please join me in offering a birthday gift to EmmaP to keep her scholarship fund strong for years to come. This site will stay active for 48 hours and end on her birthday.
