Greetings, and thank you for being here, I won't waste your time.

My pen name is J.M. Obyx, and I am the author of the Sovereign Species series, if you're wondering why you haven't heard of it, it's because it's not published yet, and as of the time of me writing this is known by all but a few who I have given access of the story to, as either alpha/beta readers or editors. I am going to independently publish with Draft2Digital, however, I know that the most important yet understated part of any book publication is the advertisement of it, because let's be honest, how can one buy something if nobody knows it's being sold?

The goal of this fundraiser is to acquire the funds necessary to draw, voice act, and score an animated/animatic trailer for the book. The funds dedicated to me via this fundraiser will be dedicated towards concept art, the hiring of a background artist, the hiring of a musician, voice actors, and animators. Now the goal may change as I haven't quite found all of the candidates for what I want to do, yet, and therefore don't have jotted down the cost of all of these endeavors.

The first step is the concept art that is to be used in the trailer, which I estimate I will need roughly $600 for the characters, and I estimate perhaps an additional $400 to draw the locations, the next will be the voice actors, and once all of their lines are recorded and their performances are optimal, next I will bring an animator on board, who will use the voice lines to animate the whole thing, using the voice lines as a guideline for animating their speaking said lines. Then lastly, I will bring on a sound designer, and then the musician to score the trailer. And lastly, the rest of the money will be used to Superchat big YouTubers in order to bring them on board with spreading the word!

As for the trailer itself, it will depict a harrowing interrogation under mysterious circumstances, the composition of the story may surprise you. This story is my dream, and for years I have wanted nothing more than to publish it and for the Sovereign Species to become the new raging literary sensation that readers everywhere will love.
