We are 1/4 of the way to our goal!!

We have gotten floors, paint and have had our first event for the Songwriters! Thank you for everyone that has given every little bit helps so much! We still have more paint to get (I had no idea how much paint would be required and how much a gallon of paint was ha ha), musical instruments, outdoor lighting (it is so dark at night), A sign, and more equipment! 

Every little bit helps if you feel so inclined. So thankful to have the space for young people to go and create. For some of them this is their only outlet and I feel blessed to be able to give it to them. ❤️ Thank you again!

I am happy to announce after 12 years of following my heart as a Songwriting and Artist Development Coach, I have been led to move my students into their own place.

“The Song Shack” will be in East Memphis on Brookhaven Circle. It will be a community for young songwriters and creative people to develop their skills with lessons, master classes, workshops and so many other opportunities. But, it will also be a place designed specifically for them to feel at home and have their own space for private writing, co-writes, rehearsals and engaging with their peers.

I have a big vision for these young artists but a small budget. There are many things needed to be operational by January 1st, the day we plan to open. This is a challenging time with the Holidays but this building was perfect and after much thought and prayer, I knew I had to secure it.

For everyone that has given me the encouragement to do this, I am so grateful. Some of you may not even know how your words have motivated and inspired me to continue on this unusual path. My heart is so full of love and excitement for this bold move and for these young songwriters and artists. If you feel led, ANY donation you can give will be so appreciated and received to fund equipment, materials and scholarships.
