The Sonatins Children’s Education Fund

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leo Sonatin, a devoted husband, loving father, and a man who dedicated his life to serving his country and community. Leo’s legacy of selflessness and commitment to others has left a profound impact on everyone who knew him.

Leo served his country with distinction in the Canadian Armed Forces as a combat engineer. Later, he became a dedicated member of the Toronto Police Service, where he served as a police constable, investigator, and Explosives Technician. His life was one of sacrifice, bravery, and service to those around him.

Leo's greatest pride, however, was his family. As a loving husband and father of two children, he worked tirelessly to provide them with a safe and fulfilling life. His love for his children was evident in everything he did, and he always strived to create opportunities for their future.

In honor of Leo’s memory and his enduring love for his two young children, we are setting up this GoFundMe page to help support their education. Leo always dreamed of seeing his children achieve great things, and we want to ensure that, despite his untimely passing, his children have the resources they need to follow their dreams and build the future he envisioned for them.
