I've known Paula, Bernardo and their children Lena and Raphael for over two decades. They are a loving family, who continually give back to their communities through their work in education and community-based theater. This morning, their home was severely damaged in a fire. As you can imagine, they are still in shock. The insurance company is taking care of hotel accommodations, but they will be starting from scratch with everything else.
