The first-ever Social Cycle takes place on Saturday, July 22nd. The group will take off from The Storyteller Pub on Grand Canal Street at 9 am, taking a coastal route all the way to Gibney's Malahide. After a brief stop, we will then head back towards the city and finish off with some food and drinks in The Storyteller!

The Social Cycle aims to raise money for charities that support young people, as they navigate through what can be a difficult period of life. This is why we have chosen to support two amazing charities.

A young person's mental health is something that should be greatly valued and supported, this is why we are partnering with Jigsaw - National Centre for Youth Mental Health. Jigsaw provides a range of services that not only help achieve better mental health outcomes for people aged 12 - 25 years old but also promote mental health as a conversation topic to the wider community.

The Dillon Quirke Foundation was set up in honour of Dillon, who collapsed during a hurling match and died of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome on the 5th of August 2022 in Semple Stadium Thurles. SADS takes 100 young lives in Ireland every year. The foundation's aim is to raise awareness and save lives by screening every GAA player both male and female from the age of 12 upwards.
