Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I find myself living in an extremely wacky world right now. Instead of watching it get more and more wacky, I figure it is time to be the change I want to see in the world. The change I want to see in the world right now is more love and respect to our National Park Service.

My plan is to turn myself into a walking petition. The goal is to get as many people as I can on board with me to show we care about our National Park system.

If you are reading this, you likely saw me at your local hiking trail or dog park handing out business cards and talking about the continuous attempted defunding of the parks.

Thats it. Thats the whole plan. Walk around, ask people if they care as much as I do, ask them to give a $5 donation to show that they care. Every time I go through an entire sleeve of business cards I will take all the money, as well as $500 of my own money and go donate it to the National Park Service. The short term goal is set at 25k, but my real dream is to raise $1 million.

In 2024 The National Park Service recorded an all time high of 331.9 million visits.

In 2025 26 parks set individual visitation records.

Since January 2025 the National Park Service has lost 25% of its permanent workforce due to budget cuts.

The current budget proposal for 2027 aims to cut the Park System budget by $736 million dollars. (approx 25%)

The people have overwhelmingly spoken and said that they still love and use our park system, yet the federal government seems hell bent on destroying them. I don't understand it, and I hope you all will show that you don't understand it either.
