On June 28th, our lives were turned upside down when my husband was in a very serious ATV accident and almost lost his life. He was placed in trauma icu for 13 broken ribs, several broken in more than one place,

laceration of liver and spleen, closed fracture of body of sternum, internal bleeding, traumatic pneumothorax, 2 head lacerations, and lots of bruising inside and out. All the injuries resulted in a surgery with plating and screws and 10 days in the hospital. He just came home to start the recovery process. He is still in an immense amount of pain and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He is the sole provider for our family and will be off work for a significant amount of time.
