The Sigma Pi Brotherhood D&I Fund

Dear Alumni and Sigma Pi Family,

 

November 30th is Giving Tuesday and The Sigma Pi Brotherhood D&I Fund is raising funds to aid our brothers suffering from financial hardships.

 

COVID-19 has greatly impacted the livelihood of everyone around us, especially current undergraduates. The rising cost of college tuition and on-campus living costs has made it almost impossible for brothers of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds to afford being in Sigma Pi. In our new Spring ‘21 PC alone, we have several amazing brothers who will need to vacate the house due to lack of funds despite financial aid from Cornell and grants from highly-selective national scholarships.

 

We have a goal of raising $10,000 by the end of the new year. This amount will greatly relive the financial struggles of our brothers, and will establish an endowment which can aid future brothers and philanthropic initiatives.

 

At Sigma Pi, we strongly believe in the diversity of our fraternity and we will uphold it to the highest standard. We believe that our current brothers and alumni will not only reach our goal but greatly surpass it.
