One of our Scout parents is planning on cycling from Sidmouth to his home town of Hranice in Czech Republic - some 1800km. This challenge is to help raise funds for both 1st Sid Vale and Hranice Scout Groups, but also highlight the importance Scouting has played in helping young people cope with Lockdown. We want to use this fundraising campaign to give our young people something to really look forward to. We hope to raise enough money to organise a one off activity for all our Young People, and our target will allow us to arrange an exchange visit to the Hranice Scout Group.  

The challenge will help us 'Close the Gap' and 'Open Opportunities' for a lasting friendship between the 2 Scout Groups.
