Hi, My name is Madison Brown, and I am fundraising for the Embiti primary school in the Maasai Mara village in Kenya, Africa. I am raising these funds to make individual packages for all the children I met at the Embiti school filled with education tools such as notebooks, pencils, chalk, and pencil sharpeners. Additionally, I am adding hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and handsanitizer, which are generally rare for the Masaai Mara villages to access. I am very aware and passionate about climate change; therefore, everything that will be purchased for the care packages has already been sourced from sustainable vendors. I am starting this fundraiser because when I visited the Embiti school, I was shocked by the school's lack of learning and hygiene resources and the children's eagerness and passion for learning. Yes, I am doing this to help improve education across Kenya. Still, my primary reason for initiating this fundraiser was to give back to the children and help them reach their fullest potential. After visiting and talking to all the kids at the Embitti primary school, I have hope for their community and know they all have such bright futures, and I want to be the one to help them discover their future holds. Every little donation or action will make a significant impact.
