The Show Must Go On-Athon

Welcome to the first Annual 2021 "The Show Must Go On-Athon" a Performance and Fundraising Extravaganza supporting students in the Performing Arts at Cleveland High School in the Choir & Theatre programs, hosted by the Friends of Cleveland Choirs Committee (FOCC) and fiscally sponsored by the CHS PTA. FOCC is hosting this event because the Performing Arts receive no direct funding from the PPS school district. Because of this, we are asking for the support of our community to help us provide high quality and diverse education & performance experiences for our amazing students at CHS.

HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS
All funds raised will be used to support the basic needs of our program and to help us produce collaborative performance experiences in the form of Musicals and performances throughout the year.
We need funds for:
- Basic classroom supplies and resources (sheet music, scripts, technology, folders etc.)
- Expanding our performance libraries to include more diverse voices and topics
- Risers, sets, costumes, royalty fees etc. for musicals, choral performances, and plays
- Fees for compensating guest artists, accompanists, conductors, choreographers, and vocal coaches
- Replacing broken or outdated equipment such as microphones, sound systems, and auditorium needs
- Student Support Fund: participating in the arts usually requires some form of financial commitment from students and families. We are committed to making sure there are no financial barriers to participating in the performing arts at CHS. This fund allows us to cover the fees and costs of participating in performances, competitions, or other events that require a financial contribution by the student.
Whatever the total funds raised, FOCC will donate half our proceeds to the CHS Theatre Program in support of our collaborative efforts with Musicals and Performances. We Believe We Are Stronger Together.

HOW TO WATCH!
Live Performances will be recorded at Cleveland High School on Friday, October 29th this year due to COVID but a live-stream video will be available to the public on November 4th at 7pm - you can find the link on our WEBSITE or log back onto this GoFundMe page to watch our amazing CHS students perform! Donations can be made anytime over the next few weeks! Please share this fundraising effort with your own networks to help us spread the word about our cause!
