The Shopping Run

Hi and thank you for visiting, I'm Ben and I'm running the Battersea Park Half Marathon on 9th March to help raise money for my dad's humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

My dad (Robert Peacock - aka the ‘Zakupnik’ (it means shopper in Ukrainian) first went out to Poland right after the invasion in March 2022 to support Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war and since June '22 has been buying and delivering humanitarian aid to people living on the front-lines in Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. This is all done at his own expense and at great personal risk. We are incredibly proud of the contribution (and sacrifice) he is making and hope it will be over sometime very soon!

In the meantime, I am in the training zone, feeling the burn and any donations you can offer will be gratefully received. It all goes to keeping dad's shopping basket full and providing much needed aid for the Kharkiv region. If you can't help financially, then any support with sharing the fundraisers would also be really appreciated.
