Hello!

My name is Chris Morse. I am a creative in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and have been very active with the performance community in the area. I have a love for the arts and am constantly finding new ways to express my creativity, whether that be through acting, singing, or writing.

Having recently graduated from Western Kentucky University, I found myself wanting to perform more and extend the reach of my own creativity. So, I have taken on the task of writing, producing, and acting in a short film that I have written titled: A Pool of Red.

This screenplay is a love letter to the detective fiction genre, most notably The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle.

The story follows Conan, a Sherlock-obsessed pizza delivery worker, who finds himself face to face with a dead body. The police ruled this incident a suicide, but Conan isn't convinced. Taking up the mantle and persona of Sherlock Holmes, he sets out to use his knowledge of the genre to solve this case himself.
