Hi,

My name is Rebecca and I am raising funds for my husband Shaun who was recently re-diagnosed with Leukemia.

In December 2019 my husband was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and B-Cell Lymphoma. He was diagnosed after an MRI discovered a cancerous tumor in his knee. When we got the news we were devastated and heartbroken. As such a young couple the idea of cancer was not even on our radar.

No long after Shaun was rushed into treatment and after months and months of Chemo, Full-body Radiation and a Double Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Transplant we finally felt a small sense of relief that Shaun had beat cancer and he could finally live and be free of this terrible disease.

We had a wonderful 2 1/2 years of him being cancer free and in remission. Shaun and I were able adopt our dog "Julian", we were able to get married and overall seemed as if life could begin again and Shaun could finally pursue school and start working towards his dreams again.

However a week after our weddings Shaun's health started to decline rapidly and he was re-diagnosed with Leukemia on New Years Eve.

We are currently living in Vancouver so Shaun can receive treatment. My goal is to raise funds to help him on his road to recovery as he fights cancer once again. The funds will be used to support my husband in many different capacities. It will assist him with the cost of food, expensive medications and other necessities for his health and wellness.

Every little bit helps. We appreciate the support of our friends, family, community and any anonymous strangers as we navigate and live through this challenging time.
