Hello everyone, I'm Hannah and I'm fundraising to help aid The Shark Research Unit, based in Aliwal Shoal, South Africa. I am aiming to participate in a 1-3month conservation and research program that will involve habitat, diet, demographics and more of sharks, whales, and turtles. Shark species are crucial to the reef environment of Aliwal Shoal as they sustain the food web and natural biological processes within the reef, which is something people all over the globe benefit from, whether they know it or not. Species include the Blacktip and Ragged-toothed sharks, as well as rays.

It's a lifelong aim of mine to help the marine environment in the greatest capacity that I can, I currently volunteer with the Somerset Wildlife Trust and am a certified Marine Mammal Medic. That being said, anything that you can give to boost my involvement in the crucial work that the Shark Development Program is undertaking would be hugely appreciated, and the funds will mean that you as an individual are also helping with the conservation and research of these wonderful marine creatures.
