Chris has been fighting a battle with poor circulation in his legs for the last two years, little did he know it was because he was in congestive heart failure. It started in 2021 with a wound on his toe that resulted in amputation. This was the first time his leg started swelling. After that his legs would continue to swell and they started on the journey of finding out why. At the end of 2022 a vascular surgeon determined it was collapsed veins in his thigh. They placed a stent in Jan of 2023 and we were hopeful. He was hospitalized in April with swollen legs, fluid on his lungs and kidney. After another round of extensive testing they found out his heart was only queening at 25%. Now, he is back in the hospital with 40 lbs of fluid to lose, more extensive tests to find a solution and to build up his heart muscle again.

This has caused a significant financial strain on their family. Please consider helping.
