The Shamrock & Olive Tree Project

We are a group of boxers from Ireland that have partnered with boxing clubs in Palestine to create a cultural boxing exchange programme. Two clubs from Ireland including Saviours Crystal (Waterford) and Saint Pauls Boxing Club (Belfast) and three clubs from Palestine including Bedu Club (boxing) Nablus Youth club (boxing) and El Barrio Ramallah (boxing) will come together in Palestine, August 2022 to exchange a boxing programme initiative.

The Shamrock Olive Tree project will feature boxing coaches from Ireland taking part in seminars with our Palestinian partners to share skills and new training methods. The project will include 3-star AIBA officials from Ireland and a series of workshops, demonstrations and training sessions between the clubs will benefit referees & judges on a local level in Palestine.

This project is a brand new initiative that promotes boxing at a local, national and international level.

We are currently seeking funds to support participants from Ireland to contribute towards travel expenses, provision of kits and sporting equipment for the three clubs in Palestine. This equipment will remain with the clubs in Palestine.
