The Shamota Family from the Ukraine

Hi, my name is Timothy Taylor and I am blessed to sponsor the Shamota refugee family of four from the Ukraine. I live in Norwich, Ohio and have been successful in obtaining travel authorizations from the USCIS and Dept of Homeland Security through the Host for Ukraine platform. Roman, Kateryna, Andrii, and Dymitro will be housed in my home for up to two years. I meet them Dublin, Ireland December 10 -and will fly them back to my home in Ohio. They have but two suitcases between the four of them. I wish to get them on their feet. I have received approval for the boys, aged 12 and 16 to be enrolled in the John Glenn High School system. Any donation would be appreciated.

The funds are designated for food and clothing and monthly telephone service for them to keep in contact with the families they have left in the Ukraine. Funds will be distributed to them to pay for essential food and clothing. I am providing housing and their transportation. We will live in a small Village of Norwich in Eastern Muskingum County of Ohio.

A detailed plan for spending would be:

$30/month x 2 spectrum phone service x12 months. $720.

Food $100/week/ 18 weeks. 1800.

Socks and shoes 800.

I will provide a car and gasoline. I will provide coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
