Hi everyone!! Thank you for joining us in our campaign to help disabled individuals in the Knowsley community and beyond.
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise, raising funds for a unique and much needed facility for disabled children and adults who suffer with neurological conditions such as sensory processing difficulties, ASC, ADHD, LD and more.
Our ultimate goal is to create an amazing sensory gym (where individuals will be assisted by trained professionals), alongside a state of the art fully interactive immersive room.
The directors have children will additional needs so we understand the stress and anxiety caused when visiting a public setting. The hive will be a safe space in which our users can play, exercise and regulate. Caregivers can relax, without fear of judgement, knowing that we all have a shared lived experience.
We also plan to offer a variety of services including:
Speech and Language therapy;
Health and well-being workshops;
Music, dance, drama, mindfulness and yoga.
Government cuts and austerity measures mean the most vulnerable in our society are not accessing the services they so desperately need.
Please help us in our fundraising to provide a facility which will help our young people to thrive.
Thank you for your support
