The SD Card

Hello everyone!

My name is Ale Ibarra, and I will be directing a short film I wrote titled The SD Card. This film will be part of my Directing II class for Columbia College Chicago and will encompass all of the skills I have learned over the last two years.

The film will be brought to life by an incredible team of cast and crew.

The SD Card will be filmed on Sunday, November 24th, and will be a one-day shoot.

The film is a horror comedy about three roommates, Max, Heze, and Logan, who find a mysterious SD card on the ground. The twist: once they look at the footage on the SD card, it turns out to be footage of them. The boys must find out who or what has been recording them, and if any of them are safe. The film is meant to show our desire to poke our heads into other people's lives with the idea we will avoid consequences. The SD Card will explore the topics of accountability, morality, and privacy.
