DESCRIPTION
An eerie scream from a woman being attacked penetrates NYC's meatpacking district while busy New Yorkers question their consciences about taking action.

Inspired by the true story of the Kitty Genovese murder, the Stanford rape case and the Edvard Munch painting.  

CREDITS
Our first two shorts Still Life and Dialogue premiered at the Berlin International Film festival and screened at Montreal Festival of Films and Videos by Women among others.  Dialogue was acquired by A&E and screened for one year.    Amy Taubin's comments on Still Life ..... "I thought it was a very good film and certainly very moving."

Bill Genovese's film about the death of his sister, Kitty, one of the inspirations for this film,  was a contender for best documentary feature at this years Academy Awards,  The story still resonates after many years.
