My name is Damian Hall and I am a Lyndon, Illinois resident and have been for most of my life. Growing up in town there wasn’t many positive routes for a kid to take. I found martial arts through a gym in Clinton,Iowa about 7 years ago and it has changed my life for the better. My dream is to bring martial arts (MMA, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing) to my small town. I have been coaching a small group of guys in Jiu Jitsu out of my garage, but space has become an issue as we have continued to grow. I am now in the process of buying a new building with much more space where I will be able to have martial arts programs for both children and adults. The building needs a ton of renovations including electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling as well as insulation and loads of drywall to name a few things. There’s no shortage of things we need. We received a donation recently that got others asking me where they could donate at, which leads me here. Any and all donations go directly into making The Scrap Shack as state of the art as we able to!
