The Scott "Shall" Shallenbarger Award

The HPHS Theatre Community is raising money to benefit the new Scott "Shall" Shallenbarger Award, in honor of his 30+ years at Highland Park High School (HPHS - IL). Shall has been a life-changing teacher and mentor, having a positive impact on both arts education and the community. Scott will be retiring at the end of the 2022-2023 school year and this award will be announced at his retirement celebration in May 2023.

The award will be presented annually to a graduating senior at HPHS to support their future education and/or endeavors in accordance with Shall's values, vision and hopes for all his students. Note: the announcement of the award in May will be a SURPRISE for Shall.

Note: All donations are tax-deductible and will go directly to the Scott "Shall" Shallenbarger Fund. The Award is being launched in partnership with HPHS, the HPHS Theatre Department, Encore Parent Group, and the Uptown Music Theater of Highland Park which is home to many HPHS Theatre alums/supporters and students of Shall and, as a local nonprofit, will also be managing the fund.

Any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to so many.
