Who are We?

We are The Scorpions, a team of 5 students from a school in the West Midlands who placed 2nd out of 17 in our first competition and 5th out of 25 in the next, competing in the Pro Class of the STEM Racing Competition.

What’s STEM Racing?

STEM Racing is a competition where teams design, model and race custom 3d printed F1 cars against the cars of other teams. These cars have to be according to the regulations of the current season. Teams are also required to make a Pit area and compile multiple portfolios showcasing their work.

Our Goals and Uses of Donations

We are aiming to make £1,200, but are hoping to make at least £700. This money would go towards possible 2 night accommodation, manufacturing fees, merch, and much more that would help us to stand out from the others. We would really appreciate any donations, big or small, so please spread the word!

Why make a fundraiser?

This year, we are competing in the Pro Class, a huge step up from the Entry and Development classes we have participated in before. Going into it, we have realised that we will need all of support and funds we can get to do well in the competition. Therefore, we decided to make this fundraiser.
