The Scientist Grand Finale!
Donation protected
Hello everyone, this is Mr. Hull and I'm here to give back to my Sweet 16 for all of the hard work they've done this year! The STAAR tests are over, and we have just a month left of school and I would like for it to be one of the most memorable parts of the school year for them.
We spoke about doing a massive overload on science and social studies learning to keep the learning engaging and fun for all of them in this last stretch of the year.
We brainstormed a lot of ideas (and pets) that we'd like to give our time and energy to as a way to connect with nature and the life cycle. We took a class vote and the pet that students wanted most out of all was a pet guinea pig for the class! But that's just the start!
We're asking for parent donations to help supply the guinea pig with everything it needs, but also want to incorporate a variety of other fun learning adventures like butterfly kits, ant farms, maybe adopting a few chicks for the classroom, some fish, and much much more!
I'm empowering them to research best ideas for additions to the class that could help put a beautiful ribbon on the amazing school year that we've had together. Any additional money that is left over after the science fun will be used for other fun activities for the students such as end of the year pizza parties, water balloon fights, and much more!
Any amount that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated so that we can get to ordering and finding all of the fun additions that we will be adding to the classroom. The children come first, and I want them to know and feel that during this last month of school. Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute!
AND I ALMOST FORGOT!! On the last day of school, each pet will be able to be adopted by any student in the class whose parents allow them to participate in the pet adoption! As incoming 4th graders, the time of responsibility starts now!! You’ve got this kids!!
