On August 6th around  3 o’clock in the afternoon a fire broke out in my childhood home. It began on the second floor and spread to the attic. Everyone got out ok, including their new dog, Mattie. We are anticipating the house being at a total loss.

My parents have lived in this house for over 40 years, so there is a lot to replace. They have some clothes, but we don’t know how long they will have to stay in hotel. Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
