Our beloved little stinker, Sam, needs your help!
Our vet discovered a lung tumor during a routine check up about a month ago. :(
According to our vet, lung tumors are usually found after the cancer has spread as lung tumors alone don't really have any symptoms. She told us that we were lucky to find the tumor at this stage, that there was no spread and that it was operable.
We opted for the (very expensive) surgery and while Sam is doing great in recovery, we received his tumor biopsy results back and it looks like there may be some cancer cells leftover from his surgery. We really want to kick this cancer where the sun don't shine!
Our surgeon and oncologist have recommended a round of chemo to try and put a damper on the level 2 cancer cells leftover.
We financially took on the surgery costs ourselves but now need your help for chemo.
We know that times are friggin T.O.U.G.H right now, so truly anything, even if just good vibes could be sent our way we would be forever grateful.
Our little dude means more than the world to us and we wouldn't be putting him through this if at any point it was mentioned that this would alter his quality of life. With this type of chemo, a vast majority of dogs experience little to no symptoms.
He's already recovering from his initial surgery like a total badass. :)
Thank you so much for even reading this,
