A superstitious retired sailor accuses his best friend of stealing his treasured ring, to which he credits their unlikely survival against a storm decades earlier...

‘The Sailor’s Ring’ is set on the beautiful coast of Redcar, Teesside in the North East of England, against the backdrop of the old industrial steel works. Inspired by haunting films like ‘The Lighthouse’, and the stunning melodramatic ‘La Pointe Courte’.

We’re working to fundraise in order to shoot our experimental short film ‘The Sailor’s Ring’ this March! All donations go directly to the production to cover costs of props, costumes, locations, actors and travel so we can create a really unique and special film.

We’re a small but passionate crew, excited to celebrate the underrepresented North East on screen.
