The Safe Nest Project is a youth-led nonprofit initiative providing trauma-informed comfort kits and emotional support resources to children affected by domestic violence. Each year, millions of children witness or experience violence at home, leaving lasting emotional scars that require specialized care and attention. Our mission is to offer immediate comfort and healing tools to children in crisis, helping them feel seen, supported, and safe.

We are a proud partner of the Asian Family Support Services of Austin (AFSSA) and are currently working with them to distribute a pilot set of 50 comfort kits to children in need.
