If you are reading this, you know me, and my dedication to animals and their well-being. This poor kitties life has broken my heart.

Here is the story of Marmalade-

This is what your cat looks like when you move out of your apartment, and you leave him behind with no food, no water, or even alerting anyone that he is there. This was intentional as this cat was locked in a closet!!

He was rushed to Guardian Veterinary in Brewster - cold to the touch - emaciated, and his gums are white. He is like a walking skeleton. It may be too late but we have to try. We have named him Marmalade.

He made it through the night, but is still fighting for his life.

I will continue to post updates so you can follow Marmalades progress. In the meantime, we are in desperate need of funding! Veterinary services are very expensive these days - as most know - but we just cannot let this sweet, loving cat down. We MUST stand up for him.

The SPCA Animal Cruelty is involved, and we will be getting to the bottom of this heartless act.
