My name is Ruby, and about a year and a half ago, my health issues that never affected me greatly before seemed to had gotten to be life debilitating over night. After about a year of seeing several doctors, specialists, and ER trips, where it has only been a constant uphill fight to receive even basic medical care, let alone compassion, I had gotten diagnosed with an illness that will be lifelong. After seeking help I was left with this under-researched condition that requires a lot of treatments, tests, and specialists are not covered by insurance. Even when covered they are expensive and have long wait times. At this point in my life I have to grieve my old self while struggling financially because of medical debt, but also struggling to live even a functional life. This gofundme is my last effort for care because I have nothing left. I would be eternally grateful for any donations which would go towards medical care, treatments, specialists, prescriptions, possible surgeries, and the time I will have to take off work so that I can continue to pay bills. If there is any money leftover I will donate it to charity so someone who needs it can use it too. The future is uncertain and I do not know what will come from my physical health and the treatment of it, but I cannot explain how apreciative I am for any support even not financial as this has left me beaten down but still filled with hope.
