The Rub is a passionate short film formed by the minds of Ricardo Bradley and Ryan Greaves about professional wrestlers in Scotland.

We at shattered reflections are a filmmaking collective production company based in Glasgow, we pride ourselves in telling the stories that are often overlooked and champion those voices through the medium of film.

The Rub is one of those stories.

We have cast real Scottish professional wrestlers to star in the film as we follow the intense and dramatic life of professional wrestlers feeling the pressure of their discipline. We want to shed a light on the world showcasing the friendships, intensity, craftsmanship and most importantly professional drama of the world.

Our mission

With this film we want to ensure that whilst championing stories we are also championing the filmmakers working on the project, which is why we need your help.

We want to pay our crew and cast and take the film to festivals to ensure not only the cast and crew are getting the exposure they deserve which is so vital in the industry, but we also want to ensure that audiences can see Scottish stories and feel excitement and curiosity of the stories around them.
