The Rowlands Family

Lisa is a very good friend and colleague to many in BT, where she’s worked for  over 25 years.

In December, her husband Terry was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the bile duct. Terry is currently undergoing chemotherapy in the hope that it will prolong his life.  

As a family Lisa, Terry, Jordan and Ethan have always loved their Disney holidays.

It’s the dream to have one last Disney holiday. Although, they are realistic that Disney may not happen any family holiday would be
wonderful.

The training team at BT have already walked the equivalent of Everest and back which is a total of 80 miles,  in 3 days June 7th - June 9th.

In September 2021 we also have a small group of friends from across BT who will be cycling 100 miles in one day. From Swansea to Cardiff and back. The route they've picked is brutal, but the pain will be worth it. We're hoping to do something a little different with cycling and set a distance challenging enough to raise as much funds as possible.

There's also the Swansea Half-Marathon where a couple of the guys will also be running to raise even more money. We'd appreciate anything you can donate and will be forever grateful.

We're busy training for the events now and can post updates as we go, but this is all for the greater good of doing our bit to help
