My beautiful friend Amber's story is below:
“Hiya ❤ I'm going to tell everyone all at once! Following on from a seizure I had and an afternoon in A&E with lots of tests, sadly they have discovered I have lung cancer and it's spread to my brain! Unfortunately they won't be able to "cure it" but they will throw the book at me and give me the best chance to maintain it all and keep it at bay!
I need to have whole brain radiotherapy which should start next week for 2 weeks to reduce all the stuff in my brain. Then depending on the mutation of cancer in my lung and lymph that should hopefully be controlled by medication which would be amazing! If not, chemo! The nurses we have seen have been absolutely wonderful and I am putting my every faith in the fantastic nhs and modern medicine which changes all the time! They won't give up on me that easy! BRING IT ON positive pants still on and my boys are keeping me going!”
I would like to raise money to future proof Amber and her family, any amount of money would be hugely appreciated to help give them one less thing to worry about. Thank you so much xxx
