'the perfect lil’ bbQ slider' with a Hawaiian twist, is going to save and rebuild ROWDYDOW bbQ.
With lots of BBQ love, we're inviting YOU to be a part of our comeback story!
By launching retail for the first time, after 13 years being solely focused in wholesale food service sales, with this deliciously cool bbQ slider and a Hawaiian twist, we’re making BBQ history! This new product launch will be just the beginning of how we'll keep this passionate mission going stronger than ever; to innovatively take 'BBQ Beyond the Backyard’ and build the very first all-American BBQ lifestyle brand!
In the video I share how never did I imagine that after finally 'making it' we'd experience a devastating 85% magnitude of revenue loss due to a third party’s chronic issues around product quality and packaging. Subsequently, in what felt like a matter of minutes compared to the 12 years it took me to build it, based solely on the inspiration to have my own business and the love of my Dad and his BBQ, we nearly lost it all. It’s been such a strain that most people have recently told me to close the business and just ‘go get a job’.
But I've been digging deep. Lots of soul searching going on here. I've decided that I’m still evermore determined, and I've still got the fight left in me! And this time, I'm going much bigger than ever before and leaving behind a mindset of lack and shifting to a mindset of abundance. Plus, by leveraging the crowdfunding platform we’re bringing people together which is what BBQ is all about. We’re not just raising funds, we’re building a community & support system, all while connecting and inspiring people, having some fun and celebrating BBQ! I refuse be ‘another’ statistic of a small business having to shut down, let alone a woman owned business one. We’ve built this company up once, we can do it again.
Let’s do this! We’re here for three reasons:
#1 – WHO This Is About.
Who loves BBQ? This is for you! And, this is for everyone who’s ever had a dream and has unbreakable tenacity and passionate optimism to see it through, no matter what it is. This is for keeping the spirit and memory of my Dad’s love for BBQ alive, and to build a legacy BBQ lifestyle brand. This is for anyone else who's ever aspired to take a secret family recipe to the next level, and this is for every fellow Entrepreneur out there hustling and persevering each and every day to keep a dream alive. #liveyourrowdydow
#2 – WHAT Happened?
Quality control and packaging issues with a company we previously hired to help us make the ROWDYDOW bbQ. Still can’t believe it happened and we’re still in shock how losing so much business, so quickly, could happen, especially after it took so long to build. But it did. The good news is we fixed it by getting the heck out of there! We work closely with a new BBQ production company and it’s exciting. So now we must look forward and innovate. Someone recently said to me ‘we grow best when we’re in the contrast’ and I love this saying, it’s motivating!
#3 – HOW We’re Making a Comeback!
By launching ‘the perfect lil’ bbQ slider’ with a Hawaiian twist, into retail! Mom’s everyday grocery list changed forever! This lil’ slider is a game-changer for the person on the go and the BBQ lovin’ family! This deliciousness-in-your-mouth will soon be the crowd favorite while you’re on the go in the grab&go section of your closest convenience store and for sure a ‘must have’ putting some excitement back into your local grocery store’s frozen isle.
Delicious bbQ made so easy and convenient, just heat and eat! Whether you’re on the go, the kids need a snack or you want to serve a unique, tasty bite for entertaining, the sliders are ready in seconds! They come frozen in microwavable packaging, available in a ‘twin-pack’ and family ‘six pack’! And oh, btw, the BIG 'Q' in bbQ stands for BIG barbeque flavor in every bite, with our smoked pulled pork in sweet vinegar BBQ sauce sandwiched in between soft, sweet Hawaiian slider bread!
